Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills - on target for biggest ever learning event

Event organiser, Mark Penton, said: "we're busy putting the final touches to the January events and have again been absolutely delighted with the response from the learning industry. We can announce that there will be more exhibitors at Learning Technologies and the co-located Learning and Skills exhibitions than ever before, including all of the major learning providers."

Bookings for the conference and registrations for the exhibitions are significantly up on the same period last year, which has given the event organisers the confidence to predict a high attendance next month.

The Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills exhibitions are expected to attract over 4,000 visitors and the Learning Technologies 2011 Conference over 400 delegates. More than 200 exhibitors have already booked exhibition stands with over 220 expected. "We're looking forward to putting on a great show," added Penton.

Learning Technologies 2011 Conference Chair, Donald Taylor, said: "there's much for the learning industry to debate currently. Learning professionals are increasingly aware that they have a lead role to play in creating the kinds of successful businesses that will emerge in strong shape from the economic downturn. At Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills 2011 we intend to help learning professionals to discover and share the best ways to make the impact needed."
