Learning and Skills Group membership approaches 5,000
The Learning and Skills Group started out as the official community of delegates attending the annual Learning Technologies and Learning and Skills events in London, before opening up its membership, last month, to all L&D professionals. The group has access to online resources, free online L&D-related events, collaborative tools and knowledge sharing opportunities and enables interaction with other L&D professionals throughout the year.
“Having nearly 5,000 LSG members, has shown the high value that L&D professionals place on the Learning and Skills Group. We expect to see a further surge in membership over the next week as more L&D professionals take part in next week’s free three-day online conference, and of course in the run up to Learning Technologies 2013,” said the group’s chairman, Donald Taylor.
“Getting to grips with significant change in the business learning sector is challenging all L&D professionals and many find that the Learning and Skills Group a hugely valuable knowledge resource - providing business learning resources and thought-leadership debate around the most important L&D issues,” he added.
Membership of the Learning and Skills Group is free-of-charge to L&D professionals, who may join via the Learning and Skills Group website.
In addition to next week’s online conference, the Learning and Skills Group’s membership benefits also include: Social networking, discussion forums, online industry and interest groups; access to all the videos and downloads from the Learning Technologies conference (including a complete archive of all conference resources since 2004); fortnightly webinars, articles, research, case studies and whitepapers on all of the issues affecting L&D professionals today.
