Bersin & Associates' David Mallon at Learning Technologies 2011 Conference
Creating a strong culture of continuous learning is critical to the success of any high-performing organisation in today's rapidly-changing business environment. Research shows that companies with strong learning cultures are 18% more likely to be a market-share leader in one or more of their markets. David Mallon, a leading analyst of learning solutions and technology, learning tools, LMSs, social networking, content management and learning 2.0, will share his findings on high-impact learning cultures and offer provocative insights, strategies and best practices for improving bottom-line business results, in his session at Learning Technologies titled 'Winning with a high-impact learning culture'.
Conference Chair, Donald Taylor, said: "Performance is what organisational leaders want. Yet, according to the July 2010 survey by Coleman Parkes, only 18% of British CEOs think that the work of the learning and development department is aligned to business needs. How can you make sure that your work is seen to affect performance? What do you have to do, and how do you have to change the culture of the organisation and your own department to make it happen? This session looks at making sure that you aren't one of the 82% whose work is seen as irrelevant to the organisation."
David mallon's session will cover:
- The High-Impact Learning Culture model
- An overview of the 40 high-impact learning culture practices
- Practical examples of success for each high-impact learning culture practice
- Actionable guidance for improving or implementing each practice
- Seven strategies for L&D or HR to get started improving overall learning culture
The Learning Technologies 2011 conference takes place on 26-27 January 2011 at London Olympia 2. Learning Technologies conference programme and bookings.
