"Ad-hoc" e-Learning
Ken Wood, Managing Director, Course-Source Ltd
Most e-learning is sold as a software license, in which up to X number of users can access specific courses for an annual fee. This is usually treated as a capital purchase (rather than an operational expense), and for larger organisations requires a lenghtly tendering process.
What if small amounts of e-learning could be purchased as and when required, which you can simply plug into your own LMS (Learning Management Sytem) or VLE (Virtual Learning Environment)?
For example, you have 10 people that need diversity training. Most managers would not even consider e-learning for this because you would have to license a course for the whole organisation in order to deliver it via your own LMS or VLE.
See how our unique CALM Server Technology(TM) makes it possible to buy e-learning in the same way that you would purchase ad-hoc classroom training. No more annual licenses with low usage rates, because you simply buy what you need, when you need it.
